Licht van Troost
‘Licht van Troost’ is a space for the beginning and ending of life.
It is located in Texel where until now there was no place for these meaningful moments.
I have given the people of Texel a chance to experience the special moments of life; giving birth and saying farewell on their beloved island.
Entrance for the islanders
When the islanders will walk towards the building they will go through the earth of there beloved island. When you walk through the dunes you will come into the core of Licht van Troost.

Entrance for the mainlanders
Mainlanders will walk toward the building on a dune path. From this path you will see the a beautiful landscape. Texel's nature.

Being outdoors lets new energy flow through you almost immediately, which makes it easier to put your dark or unnecessary thoughts to rest.
